Zalahaláp

Zalahaláp is a settlement located at the foot of Haláp Hill where natural heritage and cultural life are closely intertwined. The Baroque Roman Catholic church, the Prónay Castle, and the Cultural Center, which is full of community programs, all contribute to the spirit of the place. The village's active civil society, craftsmen and their exhibitions add color to the cultural offerings, while the surrounding forests and the geological history of Haláp Hill offer unique opportunities for excursions.

The settlement can be reached directly from Tapolca, or from Veszprém via Road 77 through Hegyesd, and from the north via Nyirád. Buses traveling here also depart primarily from Tapolca and Nyirád.
