Introduction
Borbarátok Restaurant is located in Badacsonytomaj, at the foot of Badacsony, a few minutes from Lake Balaton. The family business has been operating since 1989 and has been one of the defining locations of Hungarian hospitality in the wine region ever since.
The restaurant's menu is dominated by traditional Hungarian cuisine, with unique flavors and a modern presentation. The seasonally changing menu is based on local ingredients, with lactose- and gluten-free options also available. The reed-covered, flower-filled garden, the musical summer evenings, and the family-friendly atmosphere make the experience truly special. Borbarátok's own wines—including Welshriesling, Kéknyelű, and Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris)—perfectly complement the dishes.

Location & Accessibility
The restaurant is located in Badacsonytomaj, at 88 Római út. It is easily accessible by car from Highway 71, and free parking is available in front of the restaurant. The train station and bus stop are about a 10-15 minute walk away.
The venue is dog-friendly and open all year round. During the summer, guests are welcomed with music programs and longer opening hours.
