Wesselényi Beach
Introduction
Wesselényi Beach is the largest bathing area in Balatonalmádi, offering a wide range of services that make it an ideal choice for both active recreation and peaceful relaxation.
The beach features a water fun park, beach volleyball courts, water sports equipment, an EU-compliant playground, and a beach library. For the youngest visitors, there is a sandy shoreline, shaded areas, and a children’s slide. Those seeking cultural experiences can enjoy the beach library and various events.
Outside the summer season, the beach is free to visit, allowing for lakeside walks and the enjoyment of nature all year round.
Location & Accessibility
The beach is located in Szent Erzsébet Park, close to the central area of Balatonalmádi. The main entrance is about a 10-minute walk from the town center, while the eastern entrance can be reached in around 5 minutes on foot. The nearest bus stop is just 160 meters from the main entrance, and the train station is approximately 400 meters away, making the beach easily accessible for visitors arriving by public transport. Parking is free of charge!
