Waterworks Museum
The Waterworks Museum and Exhibition Hall commemorates the 120 years of operation of the Veszprém waterworksand offers a glimpse into the beauty and details of the "waterworks" profession with a thematic exhibition.
"We did not inherit the water treasure from our fathers, but borrowed it from our grandchildren."
The exhibition, set up in two buildings, aims to present the two main areas of waterworks services, drinking water supply and sewage and sanitation. Visitors can learn about the history of Bakonykarszt Zrt.'s legal predecessors on colorful panels, as well as view interesting old objects and tools, visitors can get a closer look at the everyday life of the former "waterworks workers." In our thematic exhibition hall, we present equipment and technologies used in the field of waterworks services, such as the design of a drinking water well head, cross-sections of water and sewage pumps, water measurement technology, and process control tools.
