Introduction
Villa Gyetvai is located in the heart of Balatonfüred, in a historic villa surrounded by an ancient garden. The history of the villa dates back to the 1920s, when Lajos Szabó, a restaurateur from Budapest, built it together with a wine cellar. decades, architect Zsolt Gyetvai renovated it to restore the building's original beauty and function. This is how Villa Gyetvai Winery was born, which is now one of the defining locations of the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region.
The estate's vineyards are located on the borders of Paloznak, Aszófő and Tihany, where the winemaker's goal is to showcase the terroir in its purest form. Their portfolio includes Italian Riesling, Rhine Riesling, Chardonnay, Kékfrankos and Syrah wines, as well as special Siller and sparkling wines. The villa is not only a winery, but also a cultural salon: regular wine tastings, wine dinners, exhibitions, concerts, and themed events await visitors. The terrace and garden in summer and the villa's rooms in winter provide a cozy setting for wine tastings.

The villa is located in Balatonfüred, at 23 Deák Ferenc Street. It is easily accessible on foot from the city center, and free parking is available for those arriving by car. The shore of Lake Balaton is only a few minutes' walk away, making it an ideal stop on a wine country excursion.
