The bicycles can be rented from and returned to collection stations located at various points around the city. We have the option to purchase temporary passes — daily, 3-day, or weekly — or opt for long-term passes, either half-year or full-year.
Whether you purchase a pass or a ticket, the first 30 minutes are free of charge, after which every additional 30 minutes costs 500 forints. Tickets can be purchased through the vbike.hu website, the V-Bike app, or using the payment terminals located at the collection stations' control kiosks.
On the electric bikes, you can adjust the level of assistance and the seat height, and thanks to the 7-speed gear system, everyone can ride at a pace that's most comfortable for them.
V-Bike can be a transportation option accessible to everyone, as the electric engine provides significant help, especially on steeper hills. Of course, this feature can be turned off if you prefer to cycle in the traditional way.
A map is also available to help you find the nearest available bike, as well as the closest station to your starting point or destination.
V-Bike passes can be purchased at the V-Bus customer service office in Kereszt Street from the start of the system, which is 1 st July. The passes are valid not according to the calendar year, but for six months or one year from the date of purchase.
