Tihany Boat Station

The Tihany Ferry Terminal is one of the most beautifully located and popular marinas on Lake Balaton, from where scheduled boat services and pleasure boats depart to several destinations. In the immediate vicinity of the marina, there are beaches, restaurants, and the famous Tihany Benedictine Abbey, which towers over Lake Balaton and offers an iconic view. The marinas of Siófok, Balatonfüred, Balatonföldvár, Balatonszemes, Alsóörs, and Balatonalmádi are accessible from the boat station,ouml;rs, and Balatonalmádi, making it easy to explore both the northern and southern shores. The marina area offers a breathtaking panorama of the peninsula, and the boating experience perfectly complements a trip to Tihany.

Tihany Railway Station is located in the northern part of the town, on the shore of Lake Balaton. It is easily accessible on foot from the center, about a 15-minute walk from the Tihany Abbey. For those arriving by car, paid parking is available in the vicinity. Tickets can be purchased online and on site. During the high season, there are several departures per day.
