Introduction

Szántódpuszta Majorság (Manor) presents 19th-century manorial life through the concept of a "living manor," with interactive exhibits and renovated buildings. The Small House offers a historical exhibition, while the Granary features the "Wheat Road" exhibition. The Barn, the Stable and the riding arena are used for occasional events. In addition to those, a farmers' and crafts market awaits visitors every weekend.

You will also find a themed playground, a Kneipp barefoot path, and a tea garden. The Ménescsárda has a gift shop and bicycle repair service, while the Öregcsárda has a restaurant. In the Horse stable and Pony stable, you can pet animals and learn about Hungarian horse breeds.

There are 4 apartments available for those who wish to stay on site, each accommodating a maximum of 4 people, with private parking.

Location & Accessibility

Located on the outskirts of Szántód, in the vicinity of the southern shore of Lake Balaton, this venue operates as a cultural site. It can be reached by car from Main Route 7, between Szántód and Zamárdi, with free parking for cars and buses on site. There are designated parking spaces for people with reduced mobility as part of the accessibility measures.

It is directly accessible from the Balaton cycle route and and welcomes cyclists with a rest area, drinking fountain, and service point. It is also accessible by public transport: regional buses arriving via Zamárdi railway station stop directly in front of the entrance, but it is about 1.5 km from Szántód railway station, which is about a 20-25 minute walk.

Closed on Mondays between September 1 and May 31. The park and exhibitions require admission. The ticket office closes 30 minutes before the end of the opening hours.
