Suzuki Arena Esztergom
Address: 2500 Esztergom, Helischer József út 5.
Welcome to the Suzuki Arena, Esztergom's newest multifunctional sports and event center, where a passion for sports meets modern design!
The facility where history was rebornThis is not just another arena among many. Located on Primas Island, the Suzuki Arena has become the modern home of Esztergom's 60-year-old handball tradition and the new center of the city's sporting life. Since its opening in 2023, it has been more than just a sports hall: kickboxing galas, corporate and school events, and even large-scale sports balls have been held there.
Charisma and Function:
The hall is not only home to the MOL Esztergom NBI handball team (which has grown into a "lion's den" due to its participation in the international European League ), but also hosts the Dág KSE men's volleyball team when they play their opponents.
Focus on Expansion: The Home of the WarriorsThe Arena quickly outgrew its initial capacity of 640. Due to MOL Esztergom's international successes, the facility was expanded to meet the requirements of the EHF (European Handball Federation). Thanks to the expansion, around 1,000 spectators can now cheer on their teams at the same time.
-
The Arena: A modern, professional arena that is ideal for a wide variety of sports (handball, volleyball, kickboxing) and events.
-
The Honor: With its upstairs ceremonial hall, the building pays tribute to the greatness of Tibor Pézsa, Olympic and world champion wrestler.
If you are visiting Esztergom and looking for a place where modern sports facilities and sportsmanship are tangibly intertwined, the Suzuki Arena is your destination. Come and cheer on the local Vitézek team, or be part of a major event on the banks of the Danube!
