Sümegi Violin

The workshop operating in Auer House offers a special experience in the cultural heart of Veszprém for those interested in instrument making. Master violin maker Elemér Sümegi makes new violins, violas, and cellos, as well as restoring old instruments. He carries out every step of the process himself, from selecting the wood to varnishing, so each instrument is a unique creation. The workshop welcomes visitors with regular open days and demonstrations.

Auer House is located in the center of Veszprém, a few steps to the right from Szabadság Square in the direction of Buhim Street. Parking is recommended in the nearby Bagolyvári parking garage and its surroundings. If arriving by public transport, it is a 10-minute walk from the bus station.
