The main purpose of placing the sculptures in the public space is to make Placochelys placodonta (pseudotooth turtle), found by Piarist teacher and geologist Dezső Laczkó in the early 20th century in the former quarry of Jerusalem Hill, more known and popularized as a Veszprém landmark. Placochelys placodonta was a species of armored turtle that lived nearly 200 million years ago, in the Cretaceous period, and was about 80-90 centimeters long
