Marcali Museum and its partners, the municipalities of Balatonberény, Hollád, Kéthely and Vörs, planned to build professional relationships in the Somogy Puppet Dancing Nativity Community Building project in 2022. During this process, they aimed to showcase methods and opportunities for preserving traditions as examples for the participants. To this end, two professional programmes were held on the south shore and two on the north shore: in Marcali, Vörs, Litér and Kiscsősz.
In Marcali, the heritage preservation work of Marcali Museum and the nativity groups operating in the area were presented. In Vörs, the tradition of building church Nativity scenes, the renowned fire museum and the local traditional house were showcased.
