Sármellék
Introduction
Sármellék lies at the junction of Little Balaton and the shore of Lake Balaton, where, in addition to prehistoric finds, Roman and Árpád-era relics also bear witness to the settlement's rich past. The local folk costumes, traditional groups (singing, folk dancing, women's clubs) and the famous Sármellék Sausage Festival show that the community not only cherishes its past, but also lives a cultural life to this day. The presence of the protected area of Little Balaton offers close-to-nature experiences for lovers of birds and wetlands.
