Noszlop
Introduction
Noszlop is one of the oldest settlements in Veszprém County, boasting a rich historical past and traditions. The name of the village comes from a Slavic expression meaning "don't give up, don't let yourself be defeated," which reflects the perseverance of the people living here. The history of the settlement dates back to the Árpád era, and its most famous overlords were members of the Noszlopy family. The natural attractions of the area, the artificial lake of the Hajagos stream and the proximity of Somló Hill provide an ideal destination for excursions.
Location & Accessibility
Ajka, Pápa, Devecser, and Somló Hill are easily accessible by car, while Noszlop is located in the central part of the micro-region. Buses serving the settlement typically run from Ajka, Pápa, and via Devecser.
