Nostalgia Museum - Visual Archive and Kitsch Museum
Introduction
The Nostalgia Museum – Visual archive and Kitsch Museum is located in the center of Keszthely, and uniquely presents everyday objects, technical innovations, and decorative items from the 19th and 20th centuries. The collection of more than 5,000 items is the result of the work of private collector Tibor Turi Török, evoking the lifestyle, tastes, and humor of the past century.
The exhibition includes the Dr. Liposits Elemér Memorial Room, which reconstructs a contemporary doctor's office, and the Kitsch Museum, where excessive, gaudy, and nostalgic decorative items take center stage. The display cases are lined with charcoal irons, dressing gowns, hair pomade boxes, old razors, and camp coffee makers— all of which invite visitors on an entertaining yet educational journey through time.

The museum is located at 1-3 Kossuth Lajos Street in Keszthely, directly at the beginning of the pedestrian zone. It is easily accessible by car, with the nearest parking lot located on Zeppelin Square. The train station and bus stop are about a 5-10 minute walk away.
