Mothers' Café, Veszprém

The Családika (in the Agora building in Veszprém) is a popular meeting place for mothers with young children in Veszprém. The aim of the Mothers' Café, which is part of the "Land of the Queens" programme, is to enable mothers living in the housing estate to form a community. Community building is done through colourful and primarily programmatic elements using experiential education and community social work tools that the target audience wants and is interested in. There is also a playhouse service for children, which complements the thematic discussions, programmes and activities for mothers.

The events organised for mothers in the housing estate have formed a group who have met continuously for a year in the Family House and have become a community united not only by their similar life situations but now also by the shared activities and experiences they have gone through.
