Introduction
Mede By Adam Mede, located in the heart of Badacsony, represents one of the most exciting new concepts in Hungarian gastronomy. The restaurant was founded by Ádám Mede, former chef at Laurel, who consciously chose to break away from the world of fine dining in order to offer his guests an informal, yet high-quality experience. The central element of the place is the open fire: the dishes are prepared in cauldrons, on spit roasters, grills, and smokers, so every dish has the character of smoke and fire.
The menu is short and varied: in addition to regular dishes, guests are treated to weekly specials. The menu includes bodag (flatbread), iconic meat dishes, and internationally inspired specialties. The drink selection is based on Balaton wines, small-scale beers, and fresh juices. The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with DJ nights and wine programs often adding color to the evenings. The goal is not just to serve food, but to create a community experience— a place where guests and chefs work together to create a gastronomic workshop.

The restaurant is located at 4 Park Street in Badacsonytomaj. It is easily accessible by car and on foot from the center of Badacsony. There is a terrace and an indoor area: approx. 12 seats inside and 30-40 seats on the terrace. Parking is available in the vicinity.
