Magyarpolány

Magyarpolány lies on the southwestern slopes of the Bakony Hills, in a picturesque setting where the hillss and plains meet, offering a unique view. The settlement is famous for its historic Petőfi Street, the farmhouses with their verandas, and the Calvary Hill statios. Cultural life is enriched by the internationally renowned Magyarpolány Passió (Passion Play), events preserving Swabian traditions, and German ethinc days. The village is a member of Europa Nostra and, with nearly a hundred protected buildings, is part of our National Heritage.

It is easily accessible by car from Ajka-Bakonygyepes, and buses traveling here also mainly depart from Ajka.
