Lóczy Cave Visitor Center
Introduction
Lóczi Cave Visitor Center is one of the natural attractions of Balatonfüred, offering visitors spectacularand geological features, and an exciting experience for nature lovers. In the highly protected cave, visitors can take a guided tour to learn about the world of karst formations gaining insight into the geological history of the Balaton Uplands. In the immediate vicinity of the cave, there are educational displays and lookout points, such as Jókai Lookout, which enrich the visitor experience, making it an ideal choice for families, hikers and school groups alike.

Location & Accessibility
Lóczi Cave is located in Balatonfüred, at 51 Öreghegyi út. It is about a half-hour walk from the train station or a 5-minute drive by car. The tourist trail leading to the cave is well signposted: follow the green signs from the railway station, and the green triangle leads from Jókai lookout tower to the visitor center. There are a few parking spaces available in the immediate vicinity. By bus, you can get to the intersection of Öreghegyi Street and Rizling Street, from where it is about a 300-meter walk to the cave.
