Litér

Litér is located on the eastern edge of the Balaton Uplands, 9 km from Veszprém and 5 km from Balatonfűzfő. The cultural life of this tradition-rich settlement is enriched by popular events such as Mogyorós Days, St. George's Day Sheep Cooking Competition and Litér Senior Folk Dance Meeting. Among its attractions are the Reformed church built on 13th century foundations, Heroes' Memorial Park, and the modern farmers' market. The village has an active community life and welcomes visitors with leisure programs and cultural events.

The village is located next to Route 72, accessible from Main Route 8, Királyszentistván, and Balatonfűzfő. It can be reached by bus from Veszprém and the surrounding settlements, and long-distance buses also stop at the central stop.
