Introduction

The main goal of the Laczkó Dezső Museum is to explore, preserve, and promote the values of the city and the county.

It focuses on military history, the past of the city of Veszprém, open-air ethnographic exhibition sites and collections, national traditions, and landscape research, and collects contemporary memorabilia. In addition, it collaborates with contemporary glass artists and collects glass artworks nationwide.

The main building of the museum can be reached on foot from Megyeház Square or Erzsébet Promenade, The nearest parking facility is the Pannon University underground car park. By public transport, it is a 15-minute walk from the Veszpr&e>m bus station, and from the train station, it can be reached directly by local bus line 4 (stop: "Megyeház tér").
