Song of Tés, aka Lackfi-Hrutka: Embraced countryside

Róbert Hrutka composed music for the poem 'Embraced Countryside' by poet János Lackfi, inspired by the natural environment and history of Tés. The song has become the anthem of Tés, as it allows the villagers to recognise the challenging lives of their ancestors and their own as well as the exceptional beauty of their home and the cultural identity provided by the local legend of the Virgin Mary (Picture Tree).
