Kőröshegy Tulip and Lavender Park
Introduction
The Kőröshegy Tulip and Lavender Park is located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, on the picturesque Kőröshegy hill, and offers a unique natural experience as one of Hungary's largest flower gardens. Founded in 2012, this family business aims to bring visitors closer to nature, while wandering through colorful tulip fields and fragrant lavender fields. In spring, more than half a million tulips bloom in the park, while in summer, the lavender fields offer a stunning sight and a wonderful scent. Visitors can pick flowers themselves, take photos among the themed installations, participate in craft programs, and relax in the park's café or on the Lavender Terrace. The park is dog- and bicycle-friendly, making it an ideal family outing destination for all ages.
Location & Accessibility
The park is located on Kőröshegy, on Persevölgyi dűlő. The site is easily accessible by car, bicycle, and on foot. The site offers free parking, bicycle racks, drinking fountains, and rest areas. E-bikes can also be rented at the nearby BalatonBike365 Port bicycle center.
