The Ostoros Károly Sports Hall is one of Zalaegerszeg's oldest and most important sports facilities. It was built in 1976 as a "work hall," and in 1994 it was named after Károly Ostoros, who was a pioneer in the introduction of basketball and organized sports in Zala County.
