Kapolcs

Kapolcs is a picturesque village in the Balaton Uplands, nestled in the valley of the Eger Stream, surrounded by forests and springs. The village is famous for its cultural life, especially the Valley of Arts festival, which attracts visitors with its colorful programs every year. Natural attractions include the basalt columns of Királykő (King Stone), Malomsziget (Mill Island) and Hétforrás (Seven Springs), while its architectural heritage includes Catholic and Evangelical churches and historic mills.

It can be reached by car from Route 77, and public transportation is available by bus from the direction of Tapolca and Veszprém.
