The Kozma István Hungarian Wrestling Academy (KIMBA) is a modern, internationally renowned sports complex and training center based in Csepel, Hungary, whose goal is to train elite Hungarian wrestlers.whose goal is to educate and train top Hungarian wrestlers. The academy is named after two-time Olympic champion and thirteen-time Hungarian champion István Kozma, and is a central element of the Hungarian Wrestling (MBSZ). Main Features and Goals
  • Life course model: KIMBA's operating concept is based on a complex life course model, which aims to prepare young talents from the beginning to adult elite sports, and even prepare them for life after their sporting careers ("To train excellent athletes and good people").
  • Training and education center:The academy not only provides training opportunities, but also places great emphasis on education and training in addition to sports training, in cooperation with educational institutions.>Modern facilities: The complex consists of a multifunctional sports hall, a wrestling college, and a training centerthat meet all the requirements for high-level training and accommodation for athletes.
  • Professional work: The training is developed by the Methodological Center Methodology Center and fits into the Hungarian Wrestling Federation's licensing program.
