Heroes' Gate

Heroes' Gate is a historical and tourist symbol of Veszprém. Built in the mid-1930s, it was renovated during the reconstruction works of 2013. Heroes' Gate is a monument with its function of leading to the Castle, while the building itself houses a museum and exhibition hall on the lower and upper floors and a panorama terrace (roof terrace) on top. The project included the insulation of the roof terrace against leaking and the protection of the walls against absorbing moisture.
