Gyárkert (Factory'ard) Culture Park, Veszprém

There is a two-hectare fenced-off area right in the heart of downtown Veszprém where not even grass grows—an empty space we have been skirting in our daily lives for so long that we have almost forgotten how to grumble about or even question its existence.

And there is a particular year to which we would like to attach memories—memories that tell the city’s residents that, alongside many long-term and thoughtfully conceived plans, there was also a time when Veszprém allowed itself to turn its world upside down.

We have sharpened the magic pencil and, with the help of the country's leading pop-up architects, we have designed an event venue with a capacity of 5,000 people, two stages and dozens of catering units, which will be able to host everything which at first glance seems to be just a moment in time, but we believe that -with a little luck- this place can be much more than that. Gyárkert is a place of belonging and shared memories for us, which is why we are proud to host 10 - 12 international star concerts and performances by Hungarian and local favorites, but this is only half of the project; while the other half is dedicated to showcasing Europe's diversity and opportunities for international connections. Our dream is that the above-mentioned guest units will be run by young people from European cities as cultural outposts for their nations.

During the winter season, Gyárkert transforms into a real fairy tale world. Visitors of all ages can try out the snow tubing track and the 500 m² ice rink. You can enhance the atmosphere with hot drinks, roasted chestnuts, pretzels, and other delicacies.
