Gógánfa

Gógánfa is located in the Marcal Valley, near the triple border of Veszprém, Zala, and Vas counties, and is rich in historical and cultural heritage. The cultural life of the settlement is enriched by the cultural center, the library, and the programs of the religious community. The Baroque architecture of the Church of St. John the Baptist and the natural treasures of the surrounding area create a special atmosphere. The village welcomes visitors with community events, traditional celebrations, and sports programs.

It can be reached from Route 84, via Ukk or Zalagyömörő, as well as from the Zala side roads via the village of Szalapa. By public transport, it can be reached primarily by bus from Sümeg, as well as from Tapolca and Ukk via the railway stop on the outskirts of the village.
