Fonyód Market and Fair

Fonyód's iconic, large-scale market and fair operates with an urban atmosphere and tourist appeal. Following in the footsteps of the "Polish market," today it offers a wide variety of goods from local merchants: handicrafts, industrial arts, antiques, books, paintings, food, and seasonal produce.

The market is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, as well as on public holidays. Between June and August, it is open from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and outside of the season, vendors can be found between 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The market is easily accessible by car due to its proximity to Main Route 7, via Gáz Street and Blaha Lujza Street. The on-site parking lot makes it easy to get there and shop comfortably. It is also within walking distance of the Fonyód railway station, just a quarter of an hour away.
