New gallery fixir, part of FOTON Audiovisual Centre, is a digital art studio that serves as a space for artistic experimentation and also as a community-building space. Its mission is to represent computer imaging, data art and light art, and to mediate the various manifestations of aesthetic problems created by the IT and telecommunications tools that have become part of our everyday lives. Its multifaceted program also seeks to fulfil functions related to the social role of new media. It aims to create an intergenerational infrastructure for the social embedding and presence of digital culture.
