Fenyves Mill
In Veszprém, there were once 15 water mills, but today Fenyves Mill is the only one with its complete interior equipment preserved. This is an incredible advantage because it allowed the creation of an interactive exhibition space, where not only can old things be talked about, but they also become visible, touchable and tangible for visitors. This makes it much more exciting and understandable for everyone, and reassuring for parents, as kids can touch the exhibition objects without the fear of breaking or damaging anything.
One of the main motivations of the project, besides providing experiences, is education and engaging the younger generation, who are growing up in today's digital world and are hard to pull away from it, as they create and maintain relationships within that environment. According to feedback so far, visiting kinedrgarten and school kids have enthusiastically ground grain and had many questions, showing interest in the old stories. The project is innovative in that it aims to bring traditions and the old world closer to young people using today’s tools.
