"Jásd people are elderberry people" - a phrase used to describe the people of Jásd, located at the eastern gateway to the Bakony, which also echoes the name of Elderberry House, opened in spring 2021. An interactive, permanent exhibition showcases the many uses of elderberries as a plant and its connection to the people of Jásd. Elderberry House gallery, open all year round, also features permanent exhibitions of paintings and a gift shop selling products made from elderberries. The new tourist information point at the eastern gateway to the Bakony is a great place to have fun!
