Café of the Wise

The world is changing, including us as people. Along your successive stages of life, retirement opens up a new, hitherto unknown stage in the passage of time. In many cases, you look forward with ambivalence to the day when you will be "liberated" from the weight of workplace expectations.  

You can do what you want, what you didn't have time to do before. Then the years go by... There are fewer tasks around the family, the grandchildren, the energy is waning and you find that taking stock of your losses is becoming a painful pastime. More and more often you notice that there are fewer opportunities, no desire to go out, no place to go, no one to go with. 

The aim of the Café of the Wise is to inform as many people as possible, especially those close to retirement age and beyond, about their personal responsibility for a positive future and their opportunities for a happy, contented and active old age.
