Balatonudvari

Balatonudvari is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, near the Tihany Peninsula, in picturesque surroundings. The small town is famous for its heart-shaped tombstones, its historic cemetery, and the excellent acoustics of the Fövenyes chapel. During the summer season, its beaches and cultural programs attract visitors, while wine competitions and traditional events enliven the life of the local community. The settlement is accessible via Route 71, located roughly halfway between Balatonfüred and Zánka. Long-distance buses also stop at the central bus stop and at Fövenyes, as well as at the two railway stops on the Székesfehérvár-Tapolca line.
