Balaton Wine & Gourmet Festival
The festival takes place in early autumn, after the traditional summer holiday season, effectively extending the Lake Balaton season with its gastronomic offerings.
The venue is one of Veszprém's most attractive green spaces, with the Veszprémvölgy stream and shady trees, and the festival venues are set up in the Jesuit Church with its special atmosphere.
With its rich program, the four-day festival aims to appeal to a wide audience interested in gastronomy, wine culture, and professional visitors, without forgetting the little ones, offering them special gastronomic and other family activities.
In addition to domestic exhibitors and programs, we also devote special attention to the food and drink cultures of neighboring countries, and also welcomed representatives from Japan and Spain in 2022, and France and Italy in 2023, as guests of honor, thus placing Hungarian culinary heritage and winemaking traditions in an international context. Master classes, large-scale show cooking events, presentations, roundtable discussions, stage performances, guided tastings, seated dinners, domestic and international experts, and an informal, lighthearted atmosphere accompanied by the finest food and the best wines and beverages.
