Almádi Wine Muster

Between 2003 and 2019, Balatonalmádi was famous and popular for its August family events focussed on wine and gastronomy. The 16 previous Almádi Wine Festivals attracted guests not only from the region but from all over Hungary, eager to experience wine and food culture. With the 'Almádi Wine Muster' event in 2023, the town aimed to revive the spirit of the former Wine Festivals. There was also a growing demand among residents for quality wine and gastronomic culture.

By organising the Almádi Wine Tasting, the city focussed on consumers who clearly value high-quality, expertly prepared dishes. The event created a meeting point for excellent winemakers and their appreciative audience.

The event was implemented in collaboration with local civil organisations and the Pannónia Community Centre and Library, aiming to establish a new tradition.
