ActiCity Dance and Movement Arts Centre Veszprém

The building of the former children's hospital is an institution for culture and active recreation. The building offers a variety of movement forms such as classical ballet, jazz ballet, folk dance, hip-hop, modern and contemporary dance, wall climbing, taekwon-do, aerial gymnastics and aerial dance, zumba and aerobics, or even petanque and yoga. The building has a total of 12 rehearsal rooms, a competition wall climbing area, an event hall with capacity for hundreds of guests, a restaurant and a café. At Acticity, children are looked after in themed childcare while parents dance or exercise, or parents can work comfortably at communal workstations in a separate room while their child attends ballet or folk dance class. On one side of the area, there is a park with ancient trees and a pétanque court for the city's successful competitors. Families can spend their leisure time in the landscape garden next to the building, which is connected by a green corridor to the other jewel of downtown Veszprém, Elisabeth Grove. The outdoor event area of the complex, which covers a total of 13.5 thousand square metres, can accommodate 1500 people. Next to Acticity is a three-storey car park with 154 parking spaces, 6 of which are for disabled parking and 4 for electric charging stations.
